Summary: A three-week adventure challenge class to explore healthy friendships.
Friendship is a big part of childhood and learning how to grow strong, and healthy friendships have lifelong benefits. In this class, students will explore many aspects of friendship. What does it mean to be a good friend? How can we be compassionate and empathetic to others but yet honour our boundaries? What qualities make a good friend to me? Each week consists of exploring a concept followed by a weekly challenge to be completed outside of class.
Week 1 – What is friendship? Why is it important? How does it impact our life?
Week 2 – Exploring the concepts of kindness, courage, compassion, and empathy. What do they mean and why are they important?
Week 3 – What does it mean to be a good friend? How do I know when I am a good friend or others are being a good friend to me?
This class is listed at 45min but can be shorter depending on learner numbers and participation.
